How IPTV Restream Works

A clear process view: source feeds → your customer server → viewer distribution — and where concurrent connections are counted.

Process flow

Source → Customer server → Viewer distribution

Restream sits on the upstream side. Your infrastructure owns redistribution to end users.

1

Source

Live channel feeds are available as M3U / HLS for operator servers. Multi-region lineups are selectable; listed catalogue size is not a continuous availability guarantee.

2

Customer server

Your IPTV panel or media server pulls the channels you need. Each concurrent upstream pull consumes one connection against your plan.

3

Viewer distribution

Once a channel is inside your stack, you redistribute it to your end users. Viewer count is separate from upstream connection usage.

Example

Connection example

Suppose your server pulls 40 live channels at the same time and redistributes them to many viewers on your panel.

That load typically uses about 40 upstream connections — one per concurrent channel pull — not one connection per viewer.

If you only keep 15 channels open upstream at peak, you may only need a plan near that concurrent pull count. Plan from peak simultaneous pulls, not total catalogue size.

More connection examples

40 channels

Pulled concurrently from upstream.

≈ 40 connections

Counted against your monthly plan.

Many viewers

Viewer seats stay on your side of the stack.

Planning tip

Size the plan to peak concurrent upstream pulls. Catalogue size (for example 13,500+ listed) is not the same as simultaneous pull demand.

Checklist

What operators need

Before a trial or paid order, have the basics ready so activation can proceed smoothly.

IPTV server or panel

Infrastructure that can import M3U / HLS and manage live channel pulls.

Public IPv4

Stable public addresses for streaming servers and relevant load balancers (required for paid activation).

Capacity estimate

A realistic peak concurrent upstream channel count so you can pick a plan.

Support contact

WhatsApp for trial and orders (+44 7723 171848); Telegram as secondary.

Paid activation path

After you choose a plan and complete payment verification with support, public IPv4 addresses are whitelisted and M3U / HLS access is issued manually. See pricing for monthly connection tiers.
