Public server IP whitelisting

Paid Restream activation requires whitelisting the public IPv4 addresses that originate your upstream pulls.

Why whitelisting is required

Access is limited to approved server IPs so only your infrastructure can pull upstream streams under your plan.

What to provide

Public IPv4 addresses of streaming servers that pull channels. Include relevant load balancer public IPs when outbound traffic exits through them.

IPv4 versus IPv6

Whitelisting described on this site refers to public IPv4. Do not assume an IPv6 address substitutes for the IPv4 address your server actually uses for outbound pulls.

Changing IPs

If your server or load balancer public IP changes, contact support promptly so the whitelist can be updated. Residential or frequently rotating addresses are not assumed.

Process

How to submit IPs

  1. Identify the public IPv4 used for outbound upstream requests (server and load balancer as applicable).
  2. Message WhatsApp with your plan context and the IP list.
  3. Wait for confirmation that whitelisting is applied as part of paid activation or an approved change request.
  4. Test playback and report issues with the IP and error details if access fails.
